Plastic Pixels

Legal business identity: PLASTIC PIXELS LLC

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled within the Plastic Pixels application. It reflects the functionality implemented in the current version of the app.

2. Information You Enter

The Start a Project form can contain the following information:

Required fields:

  • Selected service: used to identify the creative service category associated with the project brief.
  • Project details: used to describe what the user wants to create.
  • Name: used to identify the project record within the app.
  • Email address: used as contact context within the project record.

Optional fields:

  • Preferred timeline: used to provide timing context for the project.
  • Budget range: used to provide budget context for the project.
  • Additional notes: used for any extra project information the user chooses to include.

3. Other Information Retained by the App

Plastic Pixels can also retain:

  • Favourite project identifiers selected by the user.
  • Recently viewed project identifiers.
  • A draft project brief while the user is preparing it.
  • Completed project request records created inside the app.
  • The user's motion-effects preference.

4. How Information Is Handled

The current app has no user-account system, cloud database, remote business-submission API, or connected payment system. Information entered into the structured project brief is stored on the user's device when a draft or completed record is created. The project brief is not automatically transmitted to PLASTIC PIXELS LLC or to an external server by this application.

5. Retention

Draft project information remains on the device until it is replaced, completed, cleared through the app, or removed when the app is uninstalled. Completed request records remain until the user deletes an individual record, clears app data from Settings, or uninstalls the application. Favourites and recently viewed records remain until app data is cleared or the application is uninstalled.

6. Deletion and User Control

Users can delete individual completed request records from Request History. Settings includes a control to clear favourites, recent items, draft details, and request history retained by the app. Uninstalling the app also removes its local application data through the Android operating system.

7. External Email Application

The Contact Us screen can open an installed email application when the user selects the email action. Plastic Pixels does not send the email directly. Any information the user chooses to enter into the external email application is handled by that email application and its provider. The structured Start a Project form is separate and is not automatically attached to or sent through email.

8. Data Sharing

The current version does not include a backend or API that transmits structured project-brief data to the company or another service. The app does not sell user information.

9. Services and Permissions Not Used

The current build does not use advertising SDKs, analytics, Firebase, authentication, user accounts, payment processing, location, camera, microphone, or media-library access. The app does not request those device permissions.

10. Security

Information retained by the app is subject to the security of the user's Android device and operating system. No method of storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in optional project fields.

11. Children's Privacy

Plastic Pixels is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not operate an account or remote submission service, project information remains on the device unless a user separately chooses to communicate through an external application.

12. User Choices

Users may choose not to complete a project brief. Optional timeline, budget and notes fields may be left blank. Users may clear retained app information using Settings.

13. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's functionality or data-handling practices change. The effective date above identifies the version of this policy currently provided with the app.

14. Privacy Enquiries

For privacy-related questions or requests, please use the Contact Us section available within the application.
